Where to buy chocolate melts for candymaking?
Daughter has started on a chocolate making/dipping craze. We found a candy supply here that sells the melts for $5 a pound, but they are a good 20 minute drive away.

Does anyone know any place online that has good quality (read: NOT WILTON) candy melts? I'd rather pay the shipping than waste the gas & time to go get them for her.

I know Walmart sells them, not Wilton brand, so not so sure how good they are. I saw them at one of the end isles in the craft section.

If you happen to live within driving distance of a Winco, they sell them in the bulk section for about 2.30/#.

Never heard of Winco, so I'm guessing they aren't in South Fla. As far as Walmart goes, the last time I checked here, they only carried Wilton.

Most of our local grocery stores carry them. Have you checked yours?

Most of the stores here have Wilton melts, really waxy tasting chocolate. :-P

You can order online or go to one of their stores...there are two in Florida.
