Homemade Thousand Island Dressing

My mother in law used to make the best Thousand Island Dressing. Bless her heart, she now has alzhiemers and doesnt remember very much at all. Does anyone have a good homemade thousand Island Dressing recipe? ive looked up some online but the ones i see call for worschestire sauce and she didnt put that in there. It seems like she used relish, mayo ketchup and maybe sugar?

thanks in advance

we called it burger sauce at the little mom & pop place I used to work at and the owner would make it by the bucketful. She used a gallon of mayo, 2 c mustard, 2 c sweet relish and 4 c ketchup. We used it on burgers & reubens, people requested it for fry dip or to dip pattymelts.

I go with 1 c mayo, 2 tbsp mustard, 2 tbsp relish and 1/4 c ketchup. Stir and chill a few hours to let flavors blend.

This one is good.

½ cup good quality mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup or chili sauce
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice or white vinegar
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
2 teaspoons finely minced sweet pickle (do not use relish)
1 teaspoon finely minced sweet onion
pinch of salt

Place all the ingredients in a small glass bowl and stir until well blended. Cover and refrigerate
for a few hours (stirring occasionally) to let the sugar dissolve completely and the flavors meld.

You have to try this recipe. I have used it for over 30 years and just love it.

1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup chili sauce
2 chopped hard boiled eggs
1 1/2 dill pickles chopped
1 small onion minced
1/3 cup celery minced
1/2 cup green pepper minced

Mix altogether.Refrigerate. I don't know how long this will keep as we usually finish it in a few days.

I was just going to post and say that my SIL puts chopped hard boiled eggs in hers. It's really good!
