Free Kraft dressing & box bottom cereal crumbs

I've always been thrifty, but even more so lately.

Tonight was marinating pork chops in free Kraft dessing ($1.50 coupons & sale for same) Vidalia onion.....and then dredging them in the shredded wheat cereal crumbs to coat. I added a few spices, parsley, and panko (sp?) bread crumbs. Then I baked it in the oven - yum !

Have the leftovers ready for work tomorrow also.

what type of dressing? sounds good - I have lots of sale priced pork chops in the freezer. I have used the Italian (fat free and reg.) dressing for marinating chicken breasts for the grill lots of times but was not sure if it would go well with pork. I usually buy store brand dressing or kraft at Dollar tree for a buck but free would be better.

I often use Italian as well. I used Krat Vidalia onion dressing, it's there after my parenthesis above.

I read your post to mean the dressing AND Vidalia onion
I didn't know Kraft made a vidalia onion dressing! I'll have to look for it.

thanks for the clarification - I have never seen that variety of Kraft dressing either - I just thought you used the dressing with the vidalia onions LOL - I will have to scour the Kraft dressing section better next time I go

Sorry to both of you. I have the bottle in front of me:

Vidalia Onion Vinaigrette with roasted red pepper dressing and marinade

Ha - I didn't see the marinade on there, that was my own idea. It kind of looks like Thousand Island as far as the "beigy" color with dark flecks in it, kind of looking like pepper.

UPC in case you want to have the store order: 21000 02018
16 ounce

Good luck and it was yummy !
