Bake Sale Items for Kids?

My daughter's school is having a garage sale. She's 7 and is getting a table for $10 to earn a Girl Scout badge and earn extra christmas money. Any ideas of what would be easy yet somewhat unique bake sale items that would help her be successful? (and any suggested selling prices?).

Thanks!

Have you fist made sure it is ok to sell baked goods? I ask because we are not even allowed to bring baked goods for school parties. If you are allowed, when is the bake sale? If it is close to Holiday you may want to do holiday cookies or cupcakes. You can make some really unique cupcakes.

Check out the cake pops at Bakerella's website. She has some really cute things on there - I made the cupcake pops for a party and they were a huge hit:

This site has several really cute ideas for preparing/packaging bake sale treats. It would also
be a good idea (for those with food allergies), to post a list of ingredients for each treat. HTH

OMG I LOVE those cupcake pops. How cute!

If it is before Halloween, you could try these:

How did you make yours? It seems like she said she formed them. How big were they? I was just wondering if I could use a small muffin tin to make the cupcakes and then freeze, put on a stick and melt the candies?

Cupcakes in an ice cream cone you just fill the cones about 2/3 of the way then bake then when you frost them they look like ice cream cones! And easy to hold and eat.

Bakerella used a cookie cutter to form the bottoms in the picture above. I couldn't find one around here in the right size so I used a candy mold like she did here:
Cupcake Bites Made Easy! « bakerella.com

I found the candy mold at Micheal's and just poured melted candy melts in the mold and placed the cakeball on top. I pushed it down just a bit to make the melts fill up the sides. After they hardened, I inserted the stick and dipped the top in the pink color.
The size? The balls were around 1" in diameter, but you can make them any size you need. A mini-muffin pan would work too, I would just worry about them sticking. So be sure to spray if it is not a non-stick pan.

Did they sell out? That would be something to keep in mind in the future. Thanks.

My daughter did the doggie treats at our church sales for years.....she found fun cookie cutters at Petco I think---bones, fish and cats! They were very popular with the senior citizen crowd, who didn't eat a lot of cookies/cakes themselves, but love to spoil their dogs!!

Yes, my dog biscuits sold out really fast. I put 3 in a snack sized zipper bag and made a cute little tag that I stapled over the top. The biscuits were pretty big ~ maybe 4 inches long ~ dog bone shaped. They sold them for $1.50/bag and people didn't think twice about buying them.
