It's kind of cool and ehh today, feels like a soup day to me

I'm making a pot of loaded baked potato soup and some jalapeno bacon & cheddar biscuits (and some w/o jalapeno for the wee littles). Yum

That sounds really good, sexiprincess. We're having quesadillas made with some leftover pork, black bean and corn salad/salsa, and chips. (I think I have a little bit of a refried bean dip left in the fridge that we should finish up too.)

There's some apple cake that we can have for dessert if either of us wants it (I won't ... I'll fill up on chips instead.)

My 10th grade dd is going through some tough times with some girls that she thought were her best friends. I hate high school girls! They can be SO mean!

So, we decided spur of the moment to take advantage of the fact that she's been around lately and go out to dinner. She wanted to go to On the Border, so we went, were seated ordered drinks & food, I was enjoying my margarita on the rocks with salt, when my youngest daughter innocently asks when she's supposed to babysit next. I answered tomorrow, thought about it and suddently realized at 6:25 she was supposed to babysit at 6:30 and we were about 15-20 minutes away! So, she & I had to leave before any food arrived, I had to gulp down my margartia (darned if I'm leaving that!) and we get to eat out of a to-go box. We had met DH there after work, so we had 2 cars so oldest and he stayed. He is bringing ours home and I"l run it over to her - she's across the street.

We were so looking forward to a nice, leisurly dinner all together. I think I hate babysitting now.

Pizza here... I was planning on Chic Fil A because as a part of our welcome kit when we moved in here, we got a gift certificate to chic fil a in the mall for dinner for 2 (you get 2 value meals and desserts and drinks) BUT it was chilly and cold and they don't deliver so pizza won.
