I just looked at the grocery ads and realized I have to make some major room in the freezer! Turkey time! I like to try to get an extra one at Thanksgiving and Christmas for the freezer. However, I only have 2 freezers that are attached to refrigerators and they are both stuffed! Time to get with some serious cooking at my house and put a hold on the buying!
So, tonight I will make some salmon from the freezer along with twice baked potatoes that had been previously frozen and maybe some fried okra.
I will make a giant pot of chili tomorrow night (using it as witches stew for our Halloween party on Saturday). I'll use a couple of packages of ground beef along with some frozen diced tomatoes.
Friday night, we will have beef stroganoff, which was a OAMC item that I had in there. I'll serve that with... you guessed it - frozen bread.
Saturday, we are having our party, so I'll be able to use hot dogs and cocktail smokies. I may try to come up with something for some meatballs in there, too.
Sunday, I'm not sure, but you can bet it will be something from the freezer!
I'll be eating all of my lunch meals from there this week, too - Lean Cuisine, pot pies, etc. Plus, I will give DS the frozen pancakes for breakfast.
What's cooking this week at your house?
