What's cooking on Thursday?

Hello! What's cooking at your house? I have taco soup in the crockpot - easy, peasy because I made extra taco meat for Tuesday night's dinner. To the taco meat, I added a can of corn, diced tomatoes, ranch style beans (with jalapenos), pinto beans, a beer, and a little cumin. I would have added a packet of ranch seasoning, but I was out. Oh well. Anyway, it's yum!

I'm not quite sure yet. I'll be kind of busy feeding/taking care of our new kitten....some a$$ dropped off 4 kittens outside our warehouse (at work) and I am taking one home. I'll be busy bottle feeding her...they are the tiniest kittens I have ever seen. (my girls are going to go berserk when they see her!)

I do have turkey/stuffing and gravy leftover so that's probably what we'll eat. I'll make fresh mashed taters (prolly instant ) to go with it, and green beans for a veggie.

Wow Janenga - your girls are really going to be surprised!

We're having grilled salmon, roasted new potatoes & steamed cauliflower w/ cheese sauce. There's a recipe in this months Kraft Food & Family for Reece's Pie I think I will make for dessert. It really looks good!

We're having something with chicken (I boiled 6 chicken breasts the other night to have meat for casseroles and broth for soup). I'll let DH decide. Either Pioneer Woman's chicken spaghetti, chicken a la king on toast or biscuits, or chicken 'n broccoli pie. There's apple pie and vanilla ice cream for dessert.

Wow! That's a pretty big deal! It cracks me up the things that are SO important to them!

Makes me think of when my 7th grader was a couple weeks into 6th grade at her middle school and was comparing elementary & middle school and she said with great excitement and all seriousness, "...and I don't even miss recess!"

They're so sweet!
