We went out to dinner - Logan's Roadhouse. It's not my favorite, but my dad and DS really like it. I had grilled salmon and it really wasn't half bad!

How did you make your ribs?

We had sirloin tip roast, mashed potatoes, and a frozen veggie mix of cauliflower, brocolli, and baby carrots.

They didn't come out tasting like I thought. I seared them (10 pieces) in a pan with some olive oil and then put them in the crock pot on low with 1 c low sodium soy sauce and 1C. brown sugar with 3 whole jalapenos.
it might have been that they were sitting warming in the crock pot for 5 more hours after they were done we ate late last night. We couldn't taste any spice from the jalapenos so I would definitely add something else to the sauce and less brown sugar, and more jalapenos.

It was a tried and true recipe from online, but I did not care for it as is. My hubby said he would eat the leftovers so we didn't waste it. that was nice of him!
