We went to a real nice restaurant in NYC and I got polenta with my fish. It was absolutely delish! It had some kind of Parmesean cheese mixed it, it was the consistency of mashed potatoes.

Anyone have a recipe to share? I've seen so many polenta recipes, but I want a tried and true one. Do I just mix some cheese in with the polenta?

It was soooo good I almost needed a ciggy afterwards!

try this and see if you like it............
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup yellow cornmeal
2 1/2 cups canned low-salt chicken broth
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup whipping cream
2 tablespoons (1/4 stick) butter
