Thanksgiving Breakfast, what do you have?

With all the cooking and hurrying on Thanksgiving, the day before when I am preparing deserts and other item for Thangsgiving day I make Ham, Sausage and Bacon with egg biscuits and wrap them individually and put in the frig until the Thanksgiving morning, this cuts down in a big way of people being under foot while I am cooking. Grab a Biscuit, pop it in the microwave and out of my way....LOL

Bake 2 dozen biscuits
mix up 2 dozen eggs with milk, salt and pepper and pour into a non stick sprayed baking pan and put them in the oven along with the biscuits.
I then fry a pound of bacon and fry a pound of Sausage and sometime ham also.

when the eggs and biscuits are done I slice the biscuits in half and cut the eggs into pieces to fit the biscuits and I alternate what meats I put on with the eggs.

Quick and Easy

What do you have?

I always do a breakfast casserole that I make the day ahead, put in the fridge, and pop it in while we are all getting up and watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. It's like a sausage, egg, cheese, bread combo that is delicious.Oh, and lots of cheese!!

Oooh that sounds good. I have been tempted to try one of the overnight Breakfast casseroles I have seen on the recipe boards but still havent tried it yet.

OMG I totally forgot about the parade!! We watch it every year (since I was a small child).
It just isnt Thanksgiving unless you have the parade on and kids in front of the TV oooohing and ahhhhing over the floats.

We've never had a "tradition" other than a breakfast fancier than other mornings. It's always nice to linger over breakfast instead of just eating it on the way to or from work.

A breakfast casserole sounds fantastic. Maybe I'll try that...normally I do some sort of egg dish, but a casserole may be the way to go this year!
