Windy (snowy!) Wednesday

GOOD MORNING!

Yes, it's snowing here! So, instead of going out like DH wanted to his favorite grille, we've decided to eat-in. I'll be serving Lake Erie perch that we caught and froze this fall, rice pilaf, and snap peas (I have a craving now for them Lyn1 after mentioning them!!).

Hope you all are staying warm!!

Snowing here too, but there shouldn't be any accumulation. (crossing my fingers on that one....as I'm sure my chickens are...lol...they don't like being 'cooped' up )

Going to fix lasagna roll-ups...got them from the Schwan's man. Have mini meatball sauce to top them with and I'll bake a french baguette as well. Nice and easy.

It's just very cloudy here, just a few hours ago the sky was beautiful and the sun was shinning then these dark clouds came in. We are having a Marie Calenders lasagna, garlic bread and salad.

J- I hope you don't either but girl, your part of this fun snowbelt, too!!! We have about an inch now and it's still coming down!! MMMM, lasagna roll-ups! I loved the ones from Market Day. I'll have to find a recipe for them!

Maryann- Let me know how the lasagna is. I have a coupon for them that'll make it almost free, but I've been hesitant to try it, seeing I usually make my own.

It's sunny here and supposed to be 50, but the cold rain/wintery mix will be moving in this weekend. YUCK!

We are trying a new recipe for Mustard & Sage Pork Chops, sauteed kale with garlic & lemon and roasted new potatoes, sweet potatoes & beets.

We are having what I was planning on for last night. The smoked sausages, rice and snow peas. It took us for ever to get finished at the vets yesterday so we just ate out at a locally owned restaurant.

It was ok for frozen lasagna. I usually make my own, but I got coupons for $3 off any frozen lasagna and was able to get the Marie Calenders for $1.98

Thanks Maryann! I've tried the Stouffers and didn't like it! I think I'll just pay the $1.00 a piece and take them to the county home then.
