Tasty Tuesday!!

BURRRR! Hope it's not as cold where you are....it's 19 here and REALLY windy!

Tonight we'll be staying in for dinner. I put a pork loin in the crockpot this morning. I'll add some sauerkraut, parsley buttered new reds, fresh corn (I froze this fall!) and crescent rolls. I may *bake* a pumpkin pie later....courtesy of Sara Lee!!!

It's cold here too, but not too windy. I am making Spanish chicken and rice.

Cold here, too! 30 degrees this morning, which is pretty chilly for us...

We are having parmesan tilapia, rice or pasta (whichever DS wants) and canned green beans or corn.

We are trying another new recipe tonight for Chipotle salmon, southwestern rice and roasted red peppers. I'll also steam a few carrots, because I don't think the girls will eat the peppers.

Cold and windy here again too. I cleaned up my turkey carcass and simmered turkey broth all day (I had another carcass in the freezer so I used that too). Its in the fridge now so I can skim off the fat and can it tomorrow. I sliced a good sized portion of the turkey breast for sandwiches and then made a couple of turkey pot pies. One for dinner and the other for the freezer.
