Superbowl weekend menus!

What's on tap for everyone this weekend?

We are heading out shortly to go to the Home and Garden Expo. We'll stop at either Maggianos or Cheesecake Factory afterwards.

Tomorrow DH will make his Sunday pizza. For snacking during the game, I'll have; veggie and fruit tray, mozzerella sticks (the boys are insisting!) and wings.

Hope you all have a great weekend!!

We are not big sports fans here so no party attending or game watching. I was going to make hot drums for UFC tonight but my husband's friend who usually hosts it passed this time. DH worked last night but has tonight off so when he wakes up I'll give him his choice of roasted pork or hot legs lol. I have a salmon fillet out for me and I'm craving potatoes. I'll also give him his choice of veggies.

We had chicken stir fry tonight.

We have a tradition around the superbowl here. We aren't really interested in the game, but we like the commercials and usually halftime. I'm super excited because I've always been a huge Madonna fan. We eat appetizers for dinner and my girls always look forward to that! This year it's just the 4 of us. I'm making pumpernickel bread bowl dip with veggies, artichoke dip and tortilla chips, layered taco dip & frito scoops, little smokies wrapped in cresent rolls, bacon wrapped water chestnuts & pizza rolls.

Yesterday we went to a local diner, They give you a lot of food so we split a turkey dinner (and still brought some home)

Today for the game we had pizza, hot wings and sandwiches. I have enough leftovers for the next few days

Last night I baked a chicken and we had mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans with it.

For the game today I made split pea soup; cheese, sausage, and crackers; and buffalo chicken dip with tortilla chips.
