| Frozen Pizza Question
I am trying to be a bit more frugal and limit the amount we spend on take-out pizza. I sometimes make homemade pizza, but I have been thinking of buying a few frozen ones just to have around the house. Are there any frozen pizzas out there that are really good? Anyone have any favorites? |

Tombstone thin crust is one of our faves. Personal fave is the new California Pizza Kitchen super thin crush with Sicilian meats...YUMMY and it's just good seasoning but they are about $5 each and one serves 1-2 people. Tombstones are definitly cheaper |

We definitely have liked the Freschetta brand. DH likes Totino's which are regularly on sale for $1.00 each, and then he adds olives and mushrooms. I personally don't care for the Totino's, so I have a Lean Cuisine pizza when he does that. Those are pricier at $2.00 each, but less fat

I prefer Tony's or Tombstone. I add a little extra cheese to them though, maybe 1/4 cup at the most. Tried Digornio one time thinking it would be really good ('It's not delivery, it's Digornio!' and all that) and BLECH. I thought the sauce was way too sweet and overall just did not care for it.

We LOVE Freschetta pizzas!! They are the first frozen pizza to really change my opinion of frozen pizzas. They are much better than Digiorno IMO. They recently came out with a new line of pizzas also, the Brick Oven (thin crust) pizzas. EXCELLENT! My personal fave is the Portabella Mushroom and Spinach... soooo good. We (DH and I) had that for dinner last night, and kids ate the pepperoni brick oven pizza. Yes, they are pricey, but that's why we stock up when they go B1G1F.. which they do with a little regularity. Suzanne P.S. Another favorite of mine, if you want to splurge, is California Pizza Kitchen's pizzas.. as another poster said, they are even more expensive and feed not quite 2 people, but the Thai Chicken Pizza.. YUM!!!!!!
