We're going to my parents for burgers on the grill and I don't know what else.

I was hoping DH would take me out, but he just informed me that there are two "must see" football games on tonight-starting at 4:30. I'm still not cooking-I worked today, he didn't. Perhaps he can make dinner during halftime-lol...

We're going to Chili's for dinner to use a giftcard that DH got for Christmas. I'm thinking about getting guiltless chicken sandwich with black beans and steamed veggies. Yum.

Good Luck, Linnybop: That would never happen in my house. Maybe you could order pizza?

We'll be watching the games, too. I'm going to go warm up some bean dip and we'll have that with tortilla chips until I decide to go make dinner. I'm kind of making up a casserole tonight to use what's on hand since I never made it to the grocery store today and don't really feel like making a big meat and potatoes meal. So, I'm going to take egg noodles and mix them with sour cream and Swiss cheese (maybe some milk if I need it; possibly a beaten egg or two), onions, a half pound of smoked sausage (cut up), and a half bag of broccoli. I'll add salt, pepper, garlic, parsley, and whatever else looks good. Not sure what it will taste like, but it kind of sounds like it would be like noodles Alfredo or noodles Romanoff with meat and veggies. Then put it in a casserole dish and top with Parmesan (or maybe bread crumbs mixed with Parmesan). Anyone think it needs something else or shouldn't have something that I've listed? We'll have Italian rolls with it.

I STILL have a couple pieces of carrot cake left from Christmas that BETTER get eaten tonight!

I have been in major pain all day and had to work on top of it, so the kids cooked dinner tonight. I'm in the recliner with my DDs laptop....yeah she even "allowed" me to use her Christmas present. They must feel bad for me. They are cooking General Tao's chicken (from Walmart's freezer), Chicken Fried Rice (Chicken Helper), Chicken Lo Mein (frozen), and Egg Rolls (frozen). Then we are watching 3:10 to Yuma tonight. I have no appetite at all so I'll be sipping on some hot tea

We went to Chicken Red's! We were home all day cleaning up Christmas...so we wanted to go somewhere the kids could run off energy and CR's has an awesome outdoor playground.

I know it's bad for me, but they have a really yummy chicken sandwich...not grilled!

We had homemade chicken pot pie and smashed potatoes. Comfort food.

it's very much a southern thing!

take some left over spagetti with the sauce already mixed in, put it in a frying pan with a big glob of butter(the real stuff) and fry it scrapping the bottom of the pan to keep all of the crusty stuff! until its not saucey any more but buttery and slightly crusty!
very fattening but goood

Well, that is something I've never heard of! I think I'll have to try it sometime. I always seem to have leftover spaghetti and sauce, but I can honestly say I never thought about frying it! We usually just take it to work for lunch the next day.
