We always wake up to the kids getting theur Easter baskets, then go to church, then my sisters for the traditional Easter lunch, then the big Easter egg hunt!!! I love it.

Ostara always starts out with the kids looking to see what the Ostara Hare has left for them. The Equinox falls on Thursday this year so they will go school and then in the evening we will have Ritual with our Coven (like having a church service with your church family) followed by a dish-to-pass meal. We usually have a lot of egg-based dishes like quiche, a salad of greens with hard boiled eggs sliced in it, Flan for dessert, etc.

DH is Christian so the Easter Bunny will visit our house on Sunday and then after he has attended church we will go to my Parent's to have dinner with my parents, siblings, nieces and nephews. My mom is planning to serve both ham and leg of lamb, mashed potatoes and various veggies. I'll be bringing an artichoke pate for an appetizer with crackers. We don't usually bother with dessert as the kids get plenty of candy and don't need it but I may make a couple of pies for the adults.
