You got it, that's really all it is...sweet potatoes, brown sugar (I do melt some butter and add the brown sugar to it, then dump over the sweet potatoes) and marshmallows. I usually bake mine at 350* - 375* for maybe 25 minutes or so. Just till it's bubbling.

| The canned ones are already cooked. There are often some strings on the very ends and I always pull them out. They come out easy. I also drain some of the liquid off in a cup. I do the same as Janenga and add brown suger , some butter and marshmellows and bake . They will get a carmel like sauce. You can add more liquid if you want them to have a thinner sauce. I like mine thicker. |

I have added them early and they do melt and it just makes a sweet sauce. You don't "see" them when you serve them. If you want them to stay looking like marshmellow' s you add them right before they are finished. I have done it both ways and both taste good. |
