Ahhh...my crockpot is my best friend. These are some of my family's favorites.

To Die For Roast

1 package Italian salad dressing
1 package brown gravy mix
1 package ranch salad dressing
3 pounds pot roast
1 cup beef broth
any type of veggies, optional

1. Mix all of the seasoning packet in the cup of broth.
2. Place your veggies on the bottom of a sprayed crock pot. Then place your meat on top of the veggies and then pour the broth on top.
3. Cook on low for 9-11 hours.

Taco Soup

1 pound ground beef, browned and drained
1 package taco seasoning mix
1 can corn
1 can ranch-style beans
1 can Rotel
1 can tomato sauce
2 cans water (1-2 cans)

Tostada chips
grated cheddar cheese
sour cream

Brown and drain meat. Dump entire contents into crock pot. Serve with chips on bottom of bowl and add cheese and sour cream to top. (This one I usually let warm up for about an hour)

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

2 pounds stew meat
21 1/2 ounces condensed golden mushroom soup, 2 cans
1/2 packet onion soup mix
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup water
4 ounces cream cheese
1 dollup sour cream
salt
pepper
garlic
1 buillion cube
egg noodles, yolk-free
4 ounces mushrooms, sauteed
1/4 cup red wine

1. In a slow cooker, combine the meat, soups, onion, Worcestershire sauce, water, bullion, salt, pepper, garlic, and red wine.
2. Cook on Low setting 5 hours. Add sauteed mushrooms about 1/2 hour before serving.
3. Stir in cream cheese and sour cream just before serving.
(Just before adding the sour cream I mix 1T corn starch with 2T cold water to give the gravy thickness)

easy chicken

put 1 frozen chicken in the crock pot sprinkle on 1 package ranch dressing mix cover and set on low all day! don't add any liquid!
when you get home remove the chicken then mix in instant rice and a can of mushrooms.
serve!!

v-8 roast
1 beef or venison roast
1 lg can v-8 juice
1 package lipton onion soup mix
cover and cook on low 6-8 hours remove roast and thicken with some corn starch to make the gravy!
I often add a bag of baby carrots along with the raw roast then throw in a couple of drained cans of new potatoes about 10 minutes before making the gravy!

I've posted this recipe on here before and I think others have made it. It's YUMMY!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

4 lb. roast
1 can beef broth (10.5 oz)
1 can condensed french onion soup (10.5 oz)
12 oz. beer
6 French rolls
2 Tablespoons butter

Trim excess fat from roast and place in slow cooker. Add broth, soup and beer. Cook on low 7 hours.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Split rolls in half and spread with butter. Bake 10 minutes or until heated.

Slice meat and place on rolls. Serve sauce for dipping.

**MY NOTES**

I added garic powder and pepper to the meat before putting in cooker. And I have a note on the recipe that it needed salt. And I only used a 2.5 lb. roast to serve 4 people and had left overs.

ETA: I didn't use the butter on the rolls but I did toast them so they wouldn't be too soggy when they were dipped in the sauce.

Thumbs up Pineapple Pork Roast

This is a new one I tried the other night....it was delish! Tender and juicy, with a hint of sweetness to compliment the pork. I served it with wild rice and steamed broccoli

Pineapple Pork Roast
3-4 lb pork roast (any kind, I used a boneless loin roast)
1 can crushed pineapple with juice
1 tsp black pepper (I used fresh ground pepper)
1/2 tsp salt
2 cloved minced garlic (I used 2 Tbs jarred minced garlic)
1/2 c brown sugar
1/4 c soy sauce

Mix all ingredients except for the roast in a medium bowl. Place roast in crockpot and pour sauce on top.
Cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for 8-9 hours. When roast is done, remove from crockpot onto plate.
Mix 2 Tbs cornstarch with 1/4 cup cold water, stir into gravy in crockpot to thicken. Put roast back in crockpot and cover, let cook on high for about 15 mins more.
Enjoy!
