What is your favorite slow cooker meal?

I will always be a sucker for roast, potatoes and carrots out of the crock pot. I think it's because it was the first real meal I made when I moved out of my parents house that didn't require any boxed ingredients. Every time I smell the roast cooking I remember that feeling of supreme pride that I could make something so super yummy all by myself without the help of Betty C. or Kraft. I was so proud that I wrapped some up and took it over to my parents house (all 2 blocks away) for them to try. When I first received the crock pot as a gift, I kind of laughed, thinking I should exchange it for a new curling iron! So glad I didn't! Please share, what's your favorite slow cooker meal?

I use mine a ton. Other than pot-roat, like you, or beef stew, another favorite is to just throw a pork butt in there w/ some BBQ sauce and a cup or so of vinegar, and just let it go on high all day. That's what we had for dinner tonight, and it's always a winner in my family.

Try any roast of beef and one can of REAL coke. That is it. Nothing more. Let cook all day. It really really works. Very tender beef.

I have a receipe for ham and potatoes - so nice and chessy and low fat. But even then I think a roast cooking all day is the best.
