Question Looking for CD Music Sites, Like BMG or Columbia House

Does anyone know of any CD places like the old BMG and Columbia House? I want to buy quite a few CDs and was counting on joining BMG and Columbia House again, but they no longer exist.

ANY help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED. Thanks, Lynne

Columbia House Movies, Television and More available at ColumbiaHouse.com

Well, it looks like at least one still exists. I've been getting a lot of stuff cheap on half.com, which is good for somewhat more obscure stuff.

BMG just closed up shop on 6/23/09. You literally just missed them! They now have a new style club called "Your Music". You pay $6.99 for each cd, with free shipping. Not a great deal, but still a little better than the music store.

Do you need the physical cd, or would a legal mp3 download work for you? Amazon has some great deals on downloads. I often buy new albums for between $1.99- $3.99 as a part of their "Deal of the Day." Then, just burn a cd or transfer to an Ipod!

Wink Thanks

I'll check out Columbia House.

I don't have a mp3 player, but that is a good idea about downloading to one and then making a CD.

Thanks So Much, Lynne
