I think I want to get this, it looks fun. I don't have any little kids around to keep me up to date on gaming systems, so my question is what do I need besides the console and the Wii fit game/board?

If you have this do you use it? Is it fun? Do you see results?

I am sure I would eventually get other games to play as well, not just getting it for the fitness.

Its fun to begin with but it gets boring. You can't really advance much. There are other fitness and activity games that can gowith the balance board. My favorite right now is Gold's Gym Cardio Workout. All you need is the Wii console and the Wii Fit System with the balance board. The kit includes the game.
I admit I do get on my Wii Fit everyday for a weigh in. If you don't, the balance board yells at you.

I agree it is fun but if you are using it for exercise its really slow (the Wii fit) and I hate that the Wii Fit will chastise you if you miss a day LOL but it is fun to play.

When you buy the system it come with everything you need to get started.

It may be a waste of money for you because your mom doesn't use it, but I use mine. So it wont be a waste of money for everyone

I find the games too slow to really get a workout but I do use a game that counts your steps while you watch something on tv ... gets me off the couch while I'm watching something.
