Amazon's prices (mostly vendors) are ridiculous, dont overpay for them, they are very cheaply made. Wait until they are not in such limited supply or watch the TRU sales circulars for delivery times. You may have to show up at 6am...The main problem is that greedy people are buying them up and selling them on ebay for 3-4 times the price. Its so unfair. They are hardly worth the regular price. Sometimes we want the "hot" toy more than our kids actually do...My firends daughter has them and played with them the first day, but now hardly touches them...DONT OVERPAY!

Don't buy at Amazon

They sell these hamsters at Wal-mart (for $8) and Toys R Us (for $9.99). A lot of places are out of them, but they are getting in regular shipments. I would call ahead of time. I'm planning to go to our Toys R Us tomorrow to pick some up (I called today and they said they were in stock).

I got lucky and found these at WalMart. Got several hamsters, blankets, pieces of the playground, etc. I went ahead and them just in case I couldn't find them closer to Christmas. They had quite a few things, but a staff members came while I was there because she had a customer on the phone wanting to know what they had. I think that these will get harder and harder to find. I just happened to be walking through the toys and there they were. I must have shown up at just the right time.
