the books got shipped out seperately? I ordered 3 books. 2 are back ordered. I got a $5 discount for having my order over $50, and free shipping. Well, I am ready to cancel the back ordered books, but, Will they re charge me for the shipping? Or will they take back the $5 credit? How will they do it? I wont cancel if thats the case.

Happens ALL THE TIME !!!!!!! Every time I order. If you cancel and the order goes below 2 items, then you will be charged for the shipping. If it goes below the amount for the coupon, they will charge you the extra $5 (atleast that's what happened before) My advice is just to be patient.

The thing is..... I have already received and paid for the first item, and they took the coupon off of it. And, no shipping charges were added. Would they go back and charge me the coupon and add the shipping now? I called, and the guy said no, but he also said the coupon would be taken off the last item shipped. Who knows now?

Well, here's what happened to me the one time I cancelled. The first item I got read the same way. It was a video, and it showed I was only charged 2¢ after coupon and free shipping. However, when I cancelled after waiting for so long, I was charged the additional amount for shipping and the amount of my coupon.
I called and re-ordered the item, atleast they credited the amount back to my card, so in essence it made the order the same as it was before.

You could try it, but I'm willing to bet you'll be charged. When I want something right away, I no longer order from barnes. I have better luck ordering from someplace else.
