Try the Dell Outlet - www.delloutlet.com We buy almost all our computers from there and have always found a good deal. They are returns and refurbished, but they look and function just like new and come with the same warranty as a new one. I have a refurbished laptop and the only way you can tell it's a refurb is the sticker on the bottom. DH bought a 'scratch & dent' desktop and when it arrived there was no scratches or dents to be found -- looks just like new. Sarah.......mom to Jason & Devin |

If your computer's recent enough to be running XP you may just need to clean it up a bit. Putting exact error messages into Google (put them in quotes!) very often brings up fixes you can make. You might also want to check that you're not storing things you don't need (Start > Settingss > Control Panel >Add/Remove Programs and get rid of what you're not using), and run a disk cleanup and defrag (they'll be in Start > Programs >Accessories > System Tools). While a lot of Win98 computers are still running fine, they are getting on now, and are probably best replaced when they start to die. WinME was just a PITA.
