Teeth Whitening?

Anyone have a good product that they have used and it worked for teeth whitening? I swear I have tried it all, Colgate, Rembrandt, gel trays from QVC, Whitestrips and I feel like nothing has changed! I didn't want to put out the $200 to do it at the dentist, but I probably spent that in all the products I have bought that didn't work.....

TIA!

I tried all you did with no results as well. I went to get it done professionally (molds and whitening gel) and HELLO....it hurt like HE double hockey sticks! It made my teeth SUPER sensitive (never had that problem before) and I couldn't eat or drink anything hot or cold for about a week (had to be room temp). It was horrid. Doc said it happens to a lot of people and that I would most likely have the same reaction to a laser treatment (only the pain would last a lot longer).

I hope you find something that helps without pain!

I've had it done at the dental office, not the lazer though, and it made my teeth a little more sensitive, but I LOVED the results. I had also tried all the different whitening products. Instead of wasting any more money on that, find a dentist in your area that have special offers. Mine did this offer for new patients... It was worth it. Great dentist and white teeth.

I used the Crest Whitening Strips and made sure I brushed and flossed twice a day. I still have poeple tell me how white my teeth are and I used this product over 4 years ago. I think its all the brushing and flossing. I also do not drink tea or soda (much). I use a whitening toothpaste (whatever is on sale).

I tried the Crest Whitestrips Premium one time and couldn't even finish the 7-day treatment. I started getting horrible stomach cramping that gradually got worse each day I was using the strips. By about the 4th day, I could hardly even stand up because my stomach hurt so bad. I stopped using the strips and I started feeling better. I couldn't find stomach cramping on the list of side effects, but I'm positive that's what caused it.

I tried the trays also.

I got a coupon in the mail one time, about 2 years ago, for the lazer whitening for $299. So I tried it and WOW my teeth never were so white ! They were sensitive for about a week, I used Crest sensitive toothpaste.

The dentist said to keep my teeth white I should bleach them once a month, well I'd rather go back for lazer whitening every few years than do those bleaching trays.

It's not a bleach but helps whiten the teeth... I use Targon Mouthwash to help keep my teeth white in between cleanings Some dentist use to have their patient rinse with it before cleaning their teeth to help loosen coffee, tea, cola & nictione stains...I'm a heavy Cola drinker & I smoke..When I first notice I had heavy stains in the back of my front teeth..I was shocked! I rinsed with Targon and took a dental scraper to it..and the stains easily scraped off. Since then I started using sonic care toothbrushes which has really made a difference keeping stains at bay.

I am still a fan of the Whitestrips. Like another poster said you have to brush/floss before. When I first used them I used 2 boxes (4 weeks instead of the 2). It made a HUGE difference. Now I just do it every 6 months for just 2 weeks. (I use the original kind.)

They do say the darker your teeth are the longer it will be to lighten them.

ALSO, my duaghter likes the taste of the toothpaste that comes in a blue box. It is a lightening teeth brand (I think it is Cologate). I have noticed that it her teeth are much shinnier than they used to be.

Good Luck.
