I was looking at their Metabolife® Ultra Caffeine Free and wondered if anyone out there has tried it and does it work? All I want is to curb my appetite. I do not the extra enrgy crap. I get that from my caffeine.

When this first came out I was one of the first to use it. I used it for a little over 2 years. I recommended it to everyone that I knew. I had a 3 year old at the time and I told everyone that it was just like hvaing the energy of her.
The ingredients changed and it just did not seem to work as well. I also started having strange things happen to me. My heart would start to race and I developed palpations (sp?). My doctor was not to keen on it, but heck what did he know!! He only went to med school!! I was afraid of losing the energy that I had.
The last time I took some was the most afraid that I have ever been. My heart was racing, my left side went numb and my body was freezing. (Literally it felt as if my hands and feet had been dipped in ice cubes for sometime.) I have NEVER been so scared in my entire life. I just laid there crying with my husband beside me feaking out. I refused him to call 911. I went to sleep. That was the LAST time that I took that, drank sodas, and tasted energy drinks.
My doctor explained it to me very simple: Your heart sometimes cannot keep up with this bursts. It is like getting shocked. He is very ANTI any of these rush drinks.

I know that this might be an isolated case (Even though my mom and several friends that took this complained often about there heart).

I am only asking that you look into a healthy way to curb your appetite.

The FDA doesn't require testing of so called "nutritional supplements" which actually are being used as drugs.

I lost over 50 lbs and increased my energy with a mainly vegetarian diet and an hour a day on the Stairmaster at the gym.

Safe and effective.

Remember Phen-phen? Even prescription weight loss drugs screwed up.

Most likely Metabolife contained ephedra which had to leave after numerous deaths.

Protect your health. Avoid "miracle" remedies.
