Try your local Kohls I bought some today for like $8 org. $30. Part of there 70% off sale. Or maybe Ross or TJMaxx I always find cheap jeans there. My local Macys has some jeans on sale today for like $12 they are Jeanstar which are a good high quality jean original coast around$50.

My dd normally takes size 12s but I just bought her jeans that fit her fine in 10.5s at JCP... they have clearanced their plus size jeans (but you have to do some searching because not all are green tagged to around $6). Maybe she could fit into 12.5s? HTH.
