Long Lasting Eye Liner And Other Make-Up?

Well took DD to the doctor last night and she has pink eye so she needs to throw away her make-up. She complains that the kind she has now doesn't last all day. Anyone use a long lasting brand? She is 14and I don't want to spend a bundle. She also uses Cover Girl foundation and says that doesn't last either.

My vote is for liquid eyeliner Almay has a good one , I use bare minerals with a brush and wet it.

OT: Pink eye that has been going around our school for over a month now both my kids had it and
last I heard in the high school 9 kids were sent home with it, I never heard of such a outbreak of it
like this.

As far as the eyeliner goes, I don't have much of an answer. I've never had good luck with eyeliner not running on me. My eyes tend to tear a lot, so I don't ever wear it. I just bought some new mascara that I have had good luck with and it stays on all day. It is the almay triple effect waterproof. I found it on sale b1g1f, so it wasn't too expensive to get it that way.

Hope this helps

This was rated really highly on Makeupalley.com (if your daughter doesn't use this site, she should, it's awesome), so I ordered some and some powder. I work long shifts, so I chose one that was supposed to last, in black-brown, because I'm blonde. There's also an eyeliner brush for $1.99. Free shipping with code AVON7. At 14, a full face foundation shouldn't be needed, so she might have more luck with concealer as needed, and/or some powder. Also, it's possible to apply foundation only as needed. I use the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse (stupid name) under my eyes only.

We checked out this site yesterday, pretty neat site. She also wants the gel eyeliner with brush because they said it is like MAC and she had a MAC makeover and liked there products but ole mom wouldn't spend that kind of money on make-up for a then 13 year old.

I'd read about the MAC similarity, and liked the idea too. I'm trying to avoid overly expensive cosmetics, so any substitute is great. Has she looked into the ELF stuff? A lot of the eye shadows and brushes are awesome, but I don't like the lip products. The flavours are awful.

The Avon eyeliners are great, I have a problem with eyeliner staying too and the daring definition one works very well. Also if she wants a pencil type, I would recommend any waterproof ones. I think they last longer and don't smear as much.
Good luck!

For other makeup, how about Revlon's Colorstay line? Where I live the humidity can reach 100%. I find that Colorstay lasts the longest.

Don't forget to clean the applicators and brushes or get new ones!

When I use eyeliner I typically use my brown eyeshadow and a wet fine line brush to apply. Seems to stay on pretty well.

There are lots of good foundations--I really like the Bare Minerals kind of foundation. ESPECIALLY for my oily areas!
