Try Costco, BJ's or Sam's Club if you have one near you. If you don't have a membership, you can probably find a friend who does or get a 'one day pass'. These may not be the 'Rainbow' brand, but they are good quality. At one time, Costco carried a low end Rainbow that had a different name on it (like a subdivision of Rainbow or something like that -- a friend of mine had one).
There's nothing special about assembling a play set except that it takes a very long time because there are so many pieces. You could always hire a local handy man to assemble it for you. Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse and Home Depot sell play sets and I think, at least Home Depot, will also install it for you through their 'At Home Services'.
We had a playset from BJ's Warehouse at our previous house. We sold it (for a steal) to our next door neighbor we moved because DH was too lazy to take it apart and move it. My kids didn't really play on it much, anyway (they were 3 & 6 at the time). DH promised the kids a tree house at our new house, but we've been here a year now and still no tree house <ugh>.
