where can I find these car fans?

Its in the walgreens ad this week for $14.99, but I know someone has it cheaper. Its a fan that runs on solar power, and it is suppose to suck the hot air out of your car while its parked in the sun all day. Who else carries them? I checked at walmart today, and I didnt find them, but maybe I was in the wrong dept. I checked automotive and hardware with the fans.

I want to get one and try it. My car has to be 200 inside it by the end of my work day.

Target carries them in their "as seen on TV" section (near housewares). I think it was also $14.99.

I bought one, read the instructions, and returned it. It comes with a gasket (you cut it to fit) that you place along the top of your car window on each side of the fan. You aren't supposed to drive with the fan attached to the window because it may obstruct your view. (But it is pretty small.)

I returned it cause I didn't want to have to keep putting it (and the gasket) on and off.

Please post and tell us how you like it!

I bought one a few years ago on Ebay. A great big pain in the neck and it didn't work anyway.

Save your money.

Most of the "As Seen on TV" stuff is junk.

Better to buy at Target or Bed, Bath & Beyond so you save a bunch on shipping if you need to return it.

A local tv station tested them on their "Deal or Dud" segment and proclaimed them a big old dud.

I bought one from Walmart last year, it was $22, and it is a pain and did not seem to keep the car any cooler. Haven't used it all this summer.
