| Great customer service from Mr Coffee!
I wanted to let you guys know that it never hurts to complain, or express an opinion concerning malfunctioning products in your home. I have a Mr. Coffee Coffemaker that has worked great for 2 years.
Lately I have noticed that the "stainless steel trim" has turned a bronze color and seems to be peeling.
I called Mr. Coffee to let them know about the problem. They asked me for a code # on the plug, and from the code they could tell this coffeemaker was made in 2004. They also told me that it had only a 1 year warranty. I didn't complain, I did state that I thought maybe excess heat had caused the problem.
The representative put me on hold for a minute to see what she could do. They are sending me a brand new coffeemaker, similar to what I had, in an updated model. (Its selling for 59.99 at Kohls) I was very impressed with their customer service. So if you have a problem with a small appliance in your home, even if it's warranty period is over, call the company. It can't hurt!
