| Awesome customer service from Regis Corp. (Smart Style in Walmart)
Last Sunday while we were in Wally World I ran into their Smart Style Salon to grab a Bedhead product for my son. I found the item I wanted, looked at the price tag of $11.95 and took it to their register. The girl came out and rang it up and she said$16.xx. I said "wait a minute...it is only $11.95 plus tax....it shouldn't be $16.xx). She looks at the register and it rang up $14.95. She said "Sorry, but it rings up $14.95". I said well it is clearly marked $11.95 (as were the other 5 bottles remaining on the shelf). She said she didn't know what to do so she would go get her manager. She goes and ask the manager who is right around the corner and ....get this....the manager says we have to sell it for whatever the computer rings up no matter what it is marked on the shelf. I said that can't be correct...but my son needs this so I will pay the price and make a phone call to your corporate office on Monday. They said go ahead and proceeded to give me the 800# for their corporate (Regis Corp.). I called their corporate office on Monday and the lady was so nice. She apologized for what happened and said they were totally incorrect.....that is bait and switch to try to sell it for more than what it is marked and they can't do that. She then got my address and told me they would promptly mail me a refund check. I am expecting her to mail me the $3.00 that I was overcharged, but she says no...we will send you a full refund of the $14.95 for the trouble. She then said as soon as I hang up with you I will call the regional manager of that area and have them get in touch with the salon manager to correct this issue and make sure it never happens again. Well today I got my refund check and a nice letter again apologizing for the issue! Excellent Customer Service!!!!!!1
