I need some help,

i am looking for a playhouse for my son, he is 3 1/2 .
I found a little tikes cambridge cottage, that suppose to be up to 6 years old.

I need any advice or ideas concering age appropriate, or good value for price

the problem is i don't want to pay more than 250.00. Then these places are killing me with the shipping cost.

Did you check out Lowes or Home Depot - They sell the plans and then you have to purchase the wood and build it yourself. We did this years ago. It's a LOT of work.

both of these are smaller and top out for about 4 year olds.

I would suggest you try craigslist if they have that in your area. These plastic playhouses are virtually indistructable and keep their value. I just sold my magic doorbell playhouse for what I bought it for off craigslist 2 years ago, back on craigslist....

I would skip wood unless you love pulling splinters from a screaming toddler

or sign up with step 2 and little tikes for email specials.
toysrus does cary some instore, as well as in some garden depts of walmart.
you almost have to discard the box and throw the pieces in your suv to get it home.

I really liked the little tikes cambridge house, but it is 199.99 and shipping is outrageous,

i want to do plastic, no wood, so anyone else has any good ideas , or cheap places to find, post them please
