I'm thinking about getting the Wii Fit for my kids and myself. does anyone have this already....and what do you think of it? Would you recommend it?? Any specific ages...I hve 2 kids 12 & 8 years old...will they enjoy it? Thanks for any info you can give me

I absolutely love it! I have kids from 4 - 18, and they all use it. If you want, you can lock your own profile with a passcode so others can't see your BMI and/or weight. I like to do the YOGA after exercising to help me stretch out and relax. There are so many fun "games" that are really like exercising, that it's ridiculous. I especially like the hula hoop. I feel like it was definitely worth the money. Go for it!

We have one. It's really fun. I like the hula hoop ones too and the skiing ones are fun too. DD's favorite are the running ones. I have a lot of trouble with the yoga - my balance is really awful but DD loves it.

We have one also, and all 6 of the kids love it! I really like it too! We also picked up wii ski, a seperate game that uses the balance board and we all like that too! The Hula Hoop is one of our favorites also!

OK I got it!!! Yeaaa I went out to best buy (with the $10 off coupon from here....thanks OP) luckily was there an hour before store opened...already had a line of people waiting for it. OMG it is a blast! my kids are loving it. The soccer one is hysterical when they throw cleats at your head. I played for about 1/2 hour and feel like I got a good workout. Only thing I did not like was my fit age it gave me lol

I bought the WII fit and I love it. I love the boxing, step dance and the balance games.

We love it, too! It's better than I expected, actually.

Everybody in our household loves it. The kids (ages 6 & 9) are using the yoga daily to improve their balance. I enjoy just about everything, as do DH & the kids. Even with one person on the balance board, others will stay close by and workout with them. Sure beats heading to the gym!

The hula is another good one, and man is it a workout! Phew!
The running part, not a fan. So I'm still using my treadmill

Still, the wii fit makes you feel like you're not really excercising, but playing a game.

I'm STILL waiting for mine.

I ordered it from DeepDiscount.com a couple months ago. And, of course, they are not stocked at this time (probably because I got it for $10 less, PLUS free shipping and no tax - a savings of about $20 by not buying it at the store).

I am hoping they get it in stock by the end of the month.

I was forewarned about Deepdiscount.com though, so I can't say I was not prepared. But to me a $20 savings is worth waiting a couple months. Provided I don't have to wait any longer. Because I could have bought it at Walmart the day it was released (but now, of course, they are not in stock).
