How far away do you live from retail stores

Living in the country has it's good points, but today.... I'm in the mood to go shopping but we live about 30 miles from town. I do have a little mini mart down the road but I'm in the mood today for a Khols and Michaels. I'ts just not worth the gas to go window shopping that it can wait till tomorrow shen I have other errands.

They are all around us like roaches.

Way too many of each kind.

CVS and Walgreens always opposite each other.

We have Target, Walmart, Sears, Dillards, and Kmart in town. The rest we have to go to Tucson which is about 1 1/2 hours to really get to any big stores or malls. I have enough to get basic shopping, but it sucks when I am actually looking for something special for the house or a big purchase item. Guess you have to compromise something whereever you live though!

We live way to close to everything, Target, Walmart, Kmart about a mile, The smaller mall about 3 miles, then if we would like to go to the larger mall, that is only about 10 miles away.

Don't hate me but I live across the street from a shopping center and have at least 5 hospitals and maybe 30 more shopping areas within about 5 miles. I just am very centerally located. Can't imaging the long rides to the store, good thing too because I get car sick.

I am anywhere from 5 to 10 miles from most stores right now. However, in three weeks, I will be about a mile from a Target store. I'm so excited about this addition to our community.

Oh...I don't hate you. I'd hate living that close to everything. Weird, huh?

Honestly, I love living in the country and don't mind a drive into town. You do have to learn to be organized, but it's well worth it, IMO,

Different strokes for different folks.

The malls are about 40 minutes away Fred Meyer, Fashion Bug, BiMart, Walgreen's are all about 15-20 minutes (15 miles down the highway).
I love living in the country we live in the middle of nowhere on the way from nowhere to nowhere so when and if the "big thing" happens we will be relatively safe.

Walmart is about 25 miles. One mall with Dillards, Penny's, and Sears only is 75 miles one direction. A different mall with a few more stores like Limited too, Kohls, etc is 90 plus the other direction and I do not even live in the country. Just in a small town in the middle of nowhere. Of course, neither one of these towns has all of the stores I like to frequent so its a tough choice sometimes as to which direction to go and which stores to miss that trip. I so long to live in a more populated place with better shopping choices.
