70% at both Cary and Apex, NC Targets. What happened to 75%? Most candy was still 50%, though. Tons of Cinnamon M&M's left in Cary. Made me think they aren't very good.

I heard from management that the 75% off clearance sales have gone for good...

The thinking at corporate (according to her) was that people like us will make purchases at 70% off as quickly as we would if they priced it at 75% off.

I'm hoping that this is proven untrue, and that there is even more than usual left at 90% off!

Somehow, the bounty napkins in christmas/wintry wrapping is NOT on clearance this year...bummer!

Also, I noticed that they are doing a LOT of sticker price reductions - that stinks!

Look out for the "up and up" brand of liquid hand soap still in the regular aisles - my favorite was sugar cookie! Great deal!

Also managed to find the Archer Farms coffee with the snowflake design on the silver packaging - yeay!!

Any other good finds???

A possible hidden deal is the Starbucks Christmas Blend individual 8 packets. Found these yesterday on an end cap "on sale" for $7.99 (price is extremely high in my opinion), but they did scan half off yesterday. Today was 70% off making them $2.39 each. The kicker is an offer for a $5 Starbucks giftcard if you buy 3 of them. So, three of them cost $7.17, but you do earn a $5 giftcard. I believe this GC offer ends today, so you must purchase by today.

I have always scored on the AF seasonal coffee but it appears that they are "red stickered". DARN!

AF coffee

Regarding AF coffees - I did see that there were some "Christmas Blend" that were stickered - these did NOT have the snowflake design on the packaging.

However, the Pumpkin Pie Spice coffee that did have the snowflake designs were ringing up 50 and then 70% off around here.

Maybe it's dependent on the store? Weird...

Thanks. I will have to look more closely. Also, the Scotch double sided tape included. I don't think it has been in past years.

What else is everybody finding?

There are two different packagings for several flavors, the "regular" packages that are 12 oz (I think), which were "sticker discounted" and the "snowflake" packages that are 10 oz which should ring the current holiday discount even though not marked.

Additionally the snowflake ones were $4.99 to start, where the others were
$6.xx, probably due to the size difference.

I got Pumpkin Pie Spice and White Chocolate Cranberry, and there are the Christmas Blend also in the snowflake packaging (there may be more - these are the three I spotted).

On the tape - in one store I did see a display box in the holiday section that had sections for both the green and yellow (double sided) tape, along with some kind of Sharpie (silver maybe?) so that's probably why they are all ringing up cheaper.

The Scotch double sided that is on clearance is the one that says Bonus 50 inches and has the 1/2" at the top. The Scotch gift tape 3pk that is clearanced has a gold gift on the front and says 33% bonus.

I think the "good ol' days" of finding hidden deals are over at our local Targets.

Many of the hidden deal type Christmas items are now marked with a red sticker (15-30% off) and won't follow the holiday markdown schedule. Some of the candy is 50% off.
There was a whole back wall of obvious Christmas stuff at 70% off, but I already have enough wrapping paper and cards to last me 5 years.....

I don't think the deals are similar to the past. You may have to wait a little longer as they are red tagging more but alot is on sale right now. I miss the days of the good deals. I've also read they are not going to 90% this year, instead just salvaged. Since I'm not seeing anything else, I'm waiting for the toys to go from 30-50% to 50-75%. I did see two sewing machines, one a hemmer and mender and one serger both Singers.

I've heard some Target's did go to 90% off, but the two I checked (and 4 I phoned) in S. Calif did not. I'm going to check again on Friday to see if they marked them down. The two places that I checked out today did have a lot of stuff left.

90% at one Target, the other still 70% (in IL). Best deal I got was the double sided tape for 30 cents.
Archway seasonal cookies. Candy only 50% here. One possible hidden deal is a product called "Arican Black Soap Facial Wash & Scrub and Tea Tree Herbal Bump Preventer" made by Shea Moisture in a blue and orange box. These are 99 cents.
Everything included in the past is red-stickered.
Can't say I blame Target......they literally were giving things away for quite awhile.

so little hidden deals, but it was exciting to see that they STILL have the 90% off sales, despite lots of questions about that...

I got

Up and Up liquid hand soap in "Sugar Cookie" I think it was 9 or 13 cents
A gift box of a santa plate and sugar cookie mix (must have been a return)
table top tinsle tree
set of 12 gold ball ornaments
tissue paper (plain red and plain green in a package
lots of ribbon
one of those piggys that's dressed up like rudolph

Oh yes - and I bought a package of Archway Farms Coffee with the snowflakes - it was red-stickered, but it rang up at .49 cents! Look out for the smaller sized bags - the stickers don't really apply to them (even if they were accidentally applied to them)

Mostly just junky stuff left, but it was still fun! Definitely not like years gone by - I remember filling a shopping cart with my stuff that was 90% off...ah - the good ol' days!

Found a Target at 90% in N. Cal
Found:
Angel piggy bank, 0.99 This was in with all the rest of the regular banks
Diamond, 60 piece plastic utensils, 0.29
Gift bags, 0.10-0.20
Toys were still in the 30-50% off range. Hoping to find some at 70% off soon.

Solo square plates at another store were 70% off but I picked them up anyway, 0.89

Some toys on clearance at the Apex, NC store. From 30% to 70%. Too many to take note since I don't need toys.
