I got a card in the mail yesterday from American Eagle. It looks like a gift card. The paper it is stuck to says "Wish for AE gift cards - AE Holiday Gift Card Giveaway _ This special holiday gift card could be worth $500, $25 or $10. Come visit any AE store to see if you've won~ Afterwards, load $10 or more on this card or buy an AE gift card in store and get 25 AE All-Access Pass bonus credits".

I think you have to be enrolled in their buyer's club to get one of these cards. I'm a little confused by the wording...do you think it means that each card is worth at least $10? Or could some cards be worth nothing?

There is also a 15% off coupon that is good until Dec 11, 2007 and looks to be good for your entire purchase.

We got one - not all of the cards have $$$ on them......our giftcard did not have any $$$$ on it - just if you wanted to add $$$ to it. Bummer....would have loved the $500 or at least $10. Plus you have to take it into the store - you can't call or check online .

Oh, darn. I thought it was at least $10. Well, I'll stick it in my purse and hope for the best, but expect it to be nothing!

we got two of these in the mail and went into the store to check them and the clerk said that she had never seen anyone win any money on them. Even she was disappointed! I also noticed that the coupons were for different amounts. I am not sure how they decided who got how much of a discount, but one was 10 and the other was 15.

When you sign up for AE Rewards card, every quarter (4 times a year) you are sent a coupon based on your spending. as the poster before said, the reward percentage is based on your spending at the store.
you earn reward points for every purchase based on what items you buy.

the little card I got I haven't checked it out yet, but I hope I won something. I should own stock in that store with two teens who all they wear is AE. When I do the laundry I feel like I work there.
