Smile Target Aerogarden great deal!!!

I got an Aerogarden regularly $149.99 for $37.48 today at Target. There is a rebate for $20.00, making it $17.48. I also got an extra tomato seed set for $4.98.
The rebate can be printed from the Target site. I have been wanting one of these but wasn't willing to put out $150 if it didn't work that great, but for that price I couldn't pass it up.

Thanks OP for posting the rebate link! I also found an Aerogarden yesterday. I was thinking of returning it (cause it's just an expensive toy for me), but now I think I'll keep it cause of the rebate.

I'm in No CA (near San Francisco). My Targets clearanced the Aerogarden refill pods a few months ago, but not the actual Aerogardens. So I guess, in my area, the actual Aerogardens are being clearanced now.

Yes, it is 75% off. I paid $37.48.

The Aerogardens disappeared from my Targets at the beginning of the year. Then one would mysteriously appear, and I would scan it just to see if it was clearanced (it was always full price). So I was surprised to find it red stickered at 75% off yesterday.

Just have to vent... The Aerogarden that I bought was in an opened box. You could tell it was repacked (poorly), but the starter seed kit was still sealed so I didn't think it was used. When I inspected it at home, it appeared to be unused (the cords were still tied and the lightbulbs were still in the box), but I noticed some powdery residue in the main compartment.

I just set up my Aerogarden and plugged it in (without plants or water). The pump was kind of loud, so I removed it (using the instructions found online). Well, the pump is yucky and used! So someone must have exchanged their old main compartment with a new one and returned it to Target. It ticks me off that some people are such low lifes.

I called Aerogarden and they are sending me a new pump.

Thank you!

Thank you Thank you Thank you! With 3 vegetarian kids and a gardening mother who has downsized and doesn't have room for a big garden, I was looking at buying 5 aerogardens 'someday.' So far (as of this afternoon) I have gotten 2 of them at the $37.48 price. I am heading to other stores this weekend. I got ours from the 'dirt' section (potting soil). I also got the tomato seed set for $4.98 in the clearance by the 'as seen on TV' section. Yesterday I called several Target stores. No one I spoke to knew what the aerogarden was. I also went to the Target website, and it said 'not available in stores.' When I asked the store person why the website said 'unavailable in stores,' she said that any time merchandise is clearanced and no longer being ordered, it is considered unavailable in stores.
So to those of you hunting, keep looking! They are out there....

The southwestern PA store I found mine at was the West Mifflin store. I checked the Homestead Waterfront and they didn't have any left.

I have mine up and running and it is very quiet with just a nice trickling of water sound.
