Yeah...I hit Target up big time today. They had a bunch of electronics 75% off...just marked down! I got an iPod karaoke machine for $18, an American Idol karaoke for $17(will play audio and video), a Camp Rock iPod boom box for $18 (works w/ALL iPods), and my big find---a Magnavox 10" portable dvd player (reg. $199) for $50!! I bought two of those....one for each kid! They had video cameras, acoustic guitars (Camp Rock), electric guitars (Camp Rock), Dora the Explorer digital frames (those were only $17)...I can't remember, there were so many things. They had just put them out and I got there at 8:30AM. All were on the back end cap at the electronic's dept. facing the tv's!

Also..I got a new bedspread and matching shams-king size (I have always had a comforter and dust ruffle but my son is terrible w/the dust ruffle--tears it on numerous occassions crawling up on our bed!) for $12 (reg. $60). I got a foot locker for $12 (reg. $50), too.

My total was $265 but with the portable dvd players originally costing $200 (and btw, they still had some of those sitting out on display w/the other dvd players for the $199 price--they just hadn't moved those yet!), I got quite a few deals!! I took care of quite a few Christmas gifts!

Regular price here too! And I checked 3 different stores. You got a great deal so close to the holidays! I would love to have one for our little songbird. Then maybe she won't drag mine out.

The disney camp rock guitars were 75% off in Bridgewater, South Brunswick and Princeton stores in NJ. I bought one, went back later that day to get another and they were all gone.

Any ideas on where to buy an inexpensive amplifier (but one that will work correctly) so the guitar can be used?

The acoustic guitar is very low quality. The sound is not that great. Haven't tried the electric cause I still have to get an amp. But for $20 its is a good buy I guess. I bought one of each as a starter for my kids. When they get good, then we'll invest on a good quality one. They are cute.....my daughters love them.
