Is it doubling to $2? Last time it was up to $2 doubling to up to $4

It was up to $2 worth $4 here. I went today before the new month started. Really didn't find much at all....maybe someone else will do better.

i just got back and got alot of deals. They are doubling $2 ones up to $4. A couple of my items were $3.79 and they did my $2 coupon at $2 plus an additional $1.79. That's ok if it's only a freebie and I'm not getting paid to take it home.

I found Reach toothbrushes with attached $1 coupons. Their price was $3.29. With the $1 being doubled, my cost was only $1.29. Works for me. I will be going back later in the week.

I will also be saving my receipt until the Kmart ad comes out next weekend and see if any of my items I bought today are going on sale and then next Sunday I can get a price adjustment.

Be alert to the receipt. I had almost $30 in coupons that didn't double. I went to CS and showed them what I thought was wrong and they credited me. Before coupons, my total was $169.70, after coupons $34.37. WooHoo I was doing the happy dance. Also, a lot of the coupons expired today, which is a bummer, but still very good deals to be had this week. Going back again sometime this week

Are all the stores doing the double coupons, or just certain stores?

you do have to watch it closely, most people at our store end up at customer service. For some reason, not all of them double.

It seems coupons off a multiple of items, (like the Hershey buy 3, get $1.50) don't double.

Additionally if the cashier selects any item popping up on the screen and it doesn't match, the coupon most likely won't double either.

I hope they do this periodically in 09, but have to wonder if it's happening now to better their bottom line for the last quarter of 08.

Please consider emailing Kmart with positive comments so they will continue, the up to $2 is great, imo.

I went today and my KMart was out of almost everything. The person was correct that stated if the coupon is off 2 it will not "double" it will only give the full price of the first item, example $2/2 Stayfree, they are $3.49 each the coupon "doubled" to $3.49, but would not double to $4.00 even though you had to buy 2 items. I discussed with customer service, but did not push the matter since it was not a huge amount of money. The rest of my coupon doubled with no problem. The only problem I had was there was harly nothing there. The Endust I was lucky enough to get the last 3 cans, those were free. The Tylenol, I think was .39, but there was only one bottle left. The Revlon nail enamel would be a GREAT deal at .19 a bottle for someone, but not for me, I used to be a vendor for a makeup company and have tons of makeup and nail polish that I got for free from my job when we did writeoffs at the change of seasons, so I didn't buy any, there was some eye shadow that would have been free, but it was all gone. The Dove body wash would have been $1.49 I think, I was only interested in getting things that were free or very close to free. The TicTac Chill were free. I have no clue how much the Turtles would have been since they were out of them, probably a good deal since they had none, LOL. There were some Revlon tools that would have been free, but again they were all gone. Anybody get anything good that the coupons didn't expire on Sunday?

I had a great time shopping with my coupons at Kmart today. I have to say that I had to really watch what I purchased. For the most part, they are much more expensive on products than Walmart or Target. Some of their items were even more after the double coupons. I did manage to get several free items (Glade scented gels, Glade fabric spray, several kinds of candy, Gillette body wash, Dove shampoo), I also did find some of the turtles, but at $4.99 with $1.50 doubled....the $1.99 I paid wasn't that great of bargain. I also got several boxes/bottles of Theraflu for $1.49 after the coupons. I am hoping that Kmart does this on a regular basis. I haven't shopped at Kmart for a very long time. Double coupons would get me back in the store.....

I'm exhausted! But I'm happy to say that the store hadn't been picked over yet. I found most everything I had coupons for. My K-Mart isn't a superstore and I was missing some inserts so I didn't get everything. I did get 4 of the Endust, the Gillette shower gel, the Colgate toothpaste, the Olay bar soap, Tylenol, the Friskies Cat food pouches (YAY!) and several other things. When I recover I will look at my receipt and post anything else. LOL!

I went Monday to our store, was able to get quite a few great deals, with only a couple of things that were gone already. the manager at our store said Sunday was worse than Black Friday for all of the people there to do the double coupons! This was the first time our area did it.

Yes they have food items. I used the coupons for Bumble Tuna. One is a pouch and the other a small can with crackers. I also used the coupons on Kellogg's cereals. Also the Welch's sparkling grape non-alcoholic beverage ($1.00 coupon). They were on sale for $2.50 each so I paid just 50 cents.

I printed off a bunch of coupons after viewing my flyer. AND then I noticed they don't accept IP coupons. WHY??? Anyone tried & been denied?

OP posted that this doubling is thru Dec. 5, but the ad is thru Dec. 6, is the doubling still going on tomorrow? i cant find info about the time frame in the ad. TIA

It was on through saturday. The ad runs sat-sun.

No dates for future double coupons I emailed the CEO to see if he can tell me if they are doing it again and if so, when.
