What is Max Perks? Is it like a rebate you get back as a check or do you get a store credit and have to use the money in their store?

I just signed up, so I'm not absolutely sure, but I get the impression it's a store credit that you have to use in their store. Making it less of a deal if you wouldn't normally buy things at OfficeMax.
