Target - 1/11

I went to a few Targets today and noticed that some of the Target items in xmas packaging (the red & green) are now scanning full price, but others are now scanning 75% off.

From what I can tell, the 75% off items are the items that weren't following the normal xmas markdown schedule (e.g. they were still only 50% off when everything else went 90%).

I didn't find anything I needed. (I just scanned for fun ) But there still may be some xmas bargains out there -- don't assume that everything is back to full price.

Woo Hoo!

Not much to report today but I did actually find 2 sets of the Gibson Odyssey dishes!!!! Got them each for $1.99! The cashier couldn't believe it! I also got a pack of Thomas the tank engine trading cards for $2.xx (60%) off!

Other than that nothing else to report. Most toys were still only 30-50% off!

Intellitable 14.74 - on an endcap in toys - just one!
size 2 infant sneakers 3.24 from 14.99.
lots of pj bottoms marked down in ladies (no tops)
the infant endcaps have lots of jeans/flannel/thermal (boys) and similar for girls.
lots of toy clearance in its own section.

cherry hill NJ had at least two aisles of toys left -signs said 30% off or more , most were 30-50% off i was shocked anythng was left and not salvaged !!

i only got one thing the Vtech smart workshop it was 19.99 not as great as others have got it for but it was the only one left and after i scanned it someone watched to see if i put it back or in my cart so i took it to save for my youngest when he is ready for it .
next year for cmas or his 3rd b-day in a year or so .

the place was buzzing though !! crazy busy !!

I got some of these too yesterday for $1.94 (the Gibson dishes). Do you know what the original price was on those?

The original price was 12.99. The 90% clearance therefore was $1.29. I got 2 sets at that price. Note that these are "recommended handwash", so for those with dishwashers, these aren't really everyday dishes as the box says!

Not for the microwave either because of the gold trim.

I finally got around to getting back to the one Target in the area , the Holyoke Mall in MA.

All I was intererested in was the 2002 Country Christmas CD Target puts out every year. I was there when they were 50% off but figured I would wait it out til 75 or 90%.
Well, I found two of them and they were in the end cap under clearance in the music section but they scanned full price ! One ven said $3.01 because it was repackaged and still scanned $5.99 !
I asked for a manager and they confirmed that all the Xmas had gone to 90% but was all sent back to the warehouse now and I would have to pay whatever it scanned . I left them both there - just thoguht that was ridiculous. I never seem to get any good Target deals at that store - maybe because it is the only one in the area and you have to be the first to get there .

I did get a ton of wrapping paper and other Xmas related things at The Fianl Markdown in WS the day after Xmas - way niceer things and reala cheap.
