2007 Lean Cuisine Lunch Totes!

They're back and will probably sell out pretty fast again this year. Last year they went for upwards of $100 on Ebay after they were sold out so they are VERY popular. They go on sale Sept. 1 so bookmark it. You can sign up for them to send you a reminder if you think you'll forget. Good Luck!

LEAN CUISINE® insulated designer lunch bags

I forgot to add that a full $5 of the $9.95 price goes to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation!

It is quite roomy with dimensions of appr. 9"high x 6 1/2"across x 5 1/2"deep. ... THEY FIT A LEAN CUISINE COMFORTABLY IN THE BOTTOM AND WITH PLENTY OF ROOM TO SPARE. I bought them for teacher's gifts last year but ended up selling them because they were soooo popular.

I think you can buy as many as you want - I bought three last year (one of each design) then kept my favorite and sold the other two on Ebay. I got just over $50 for each of them - they were really popular. I can't guarantee that they will sell like that again but if they sell out fast then chances are...
They came with a little pink ribbon key chain on the handle and some L.C. coupons inside. HTH

Wow, those are really cute! They would make nice gifts for sure. Thanks for sharing. It says the price includes shipping, which is nice. I did set up a reminder. Anyone know what time the sale begins? I'm worried they will be gone quick!

Okay - because I bought some last year they sent me an e-mail and allowed me to buy two bags this morning. I sent one to myself and one to my daughter at my same address and it went through fine. I had to log in so I'm not sure if it will allow you guys to buy early but you could try setting up an account and then going through this link from my e-mail and see if it works.

Oh well, it was worth a try I guess. Sorry about that...

Anyone who bought last year should look for their own e-mail - maybe if you don't want to buy again this year you could post the link sent to you as a R.A.O.K. ???

I just found the email they sent to me, thanks OP!

It showed up in my junk email box, with the following subject:

2007 LEAN CUISINE(R) Lunch Bags - Exclusive VIP Sneak Peek Offer

It allows you to buy two now, then set up a reminder for the 9/1 date.

So check those emails, everyone!

Thanks again, OP!! I really love my bag from last year, now my sister gets one and I get a new one! My friend actually thought it was a purse! Too cute!!

Wait, these bags are for charity. $5 goes to cancer research, but people are selling them and making a profit?

The charity is getting their $5. How is this lame?? Maybe Lean Cuisine should sell them for $50. I have a feeling that the Komen Foundation is gonna make more money off a $10 bag that nets them a $5 donation instead of a $50 bag that would not sell.

As far as re-selling...if folks are willing to pay, so be it.

50% of a purchase price going to charity is really pretty good. It's not unusual for 'a portion' or less than a dollar of an item's price to go to charity, while the donation is still treated as a selling point.

I listed my 2 bags that I wasn't going to use for myself on Ebay at the original $9.95 selling price. The risk was that I would end up paying the listing fees and the selling fees and be out $, the buyers raised the price on their own because they really wanted them. I did not buy 100 bags with the idea to make a profit but when I saw what they were going for it made more economical sense to sell them. The teachers ended up with $25 Target G.C.s which is more than I can usually afford so everyone was happy in the end! (I'm a single mom of 2 kids)

Do not judge, lest you be judged!

Oh - and the bags are NOT for charity - they are for Lunch - they just happen to donate $5 to charity...

Give her a break! If she can make a little money on the bags then so be it.Its no different than anyone else buying items at yard sales and reselling them on Ebay.Would you not buy something from somone who looks less fortunate than you and not buy the item because you think your jilting them.If you don't buy it someone else will and the person may not know how to sell it on Ebay even if you told them it was worth more than they are selling it for.And the one poster is right. Its not all going to charity.$5 of the purchase is.I wish people would stop nit picking. We are all here for deals. Are we cheating the stores when we use our coupons and rebates.I think not! So i too will save and sell as i please. Thank You!

Well said- I was in a similar situation myself. I bought 1 bag for personal use, but I don't work outside of the home. I thought the bags were really beautiful, and would come in handy on day trips. I also really liked the idea of half of the purchase going to charity, and wanted the promotion to be successful!

However, I had no idea how succesful it would be! Friends that wanted the bags weren't able to purchase them because they sold out so quickly. Eventually, I sold my one bag on Ebay for around $50, as it wasn't being used and I couldn't decide which frined to give it to.

I didn't get the email from Lean Cuisine, but I hop to buy a few bags this year- one for myself and a few as Christmas gifts for those that really wanted them last year.

Just another thought on the Ebay discussions . . . I too sold one of the Lean Cuisine tote on Ebay last year and donated a percentage of the sale to the Susan G. Komen foundation. When listing on Ebay, there is an option to donate a percentage of your sold auction to a number of charities. It was very simple to register the charity and designate a donation amount.

$5 to the charity and free S&H is sweet!

I bought the pink one with the circles. It also offers the opportunity to buy the 2006 version for the same $9.95.

Thanks for the heads up, OP.

7 AM EST-I was able to get 3 and one had to be mailed to my sister, who I had wanted to give to at Christmas. I had checked a few times when I was up in the night and it wasn't on sale yet. I wish I could have purchased a few more. Good to have a limit so more individuals get a chance, but sad I couldn't get just the few more I wanted for gifts.

I was able to get 10. I will give them as teachers gifts. I have four kids in school, one of which is in Jr. High, he has seven different teachers. The website says you can come back as many times as you like.

This is werid....here is the message that is on the site on the page that you order from...

We're sorry for the inconvenience, but we must currently limit your order to two bags — one for you and one for a friend — due to technical difficulties. Please know that we're working hard to have these issues resolved by Sept. 10. In the interim, we invite you back to LeanCuisine.com as often as you like to purchase more bags. Thank you for your patience and support!

First it says you are limited to two bags, then at the end says come back as ofter as you like?!?!?

Just a heads up too - I got flagged by my virus software that it caught and deleted a virus and had me re-boot when I went to add my name to the list to get an email next year.

They're limiting you to two bags PER ORDER - they are trying, I think, to keep folks from buying up a hundred to sell on ebay [not criticizing those doing so] and making it possible for everyone to get what they want without shutting out other folks in an unreasonable amount of time . . .

HI! How are you getting more than 2? I would love these for gifts, but it will only let me buy 2. Also, where does it let you order the 2006 bags? I would love one of those for me. I missed out on it last year. Thanks.

Looks like the 2006 is sold out.

To order more than 2, just go back and order again. You can order 2 at a time but place as many orders as you want. I placed 2 orders for 2 bags each time. All my bags are coming to me. I do hope that they have a way to combine the orders going to one address. I hate the thought of the extra shipping by sending all those individually.

just bumping this up. Looks like they are still available.

Does anyone know when these will ship? I am getting tired of using my Dd's princess lunch box for my new job I got. Luckily, I am a first grade aide, so it ties in. But I still want my LC one. lol
