FYI - the rebate is good for several different printers and can be used at most stores. I listed these Amazon items because it's free shipping and on sale. Also, the ink for Epson is soooo much cheaper than HP or Lexmark.

Epson is a good printer but I have found my Canon to be much better and ink is cheaper. I pay less than $7 for black cartridges and about $16 for color. My Epson was about double those prices. The cost of the printer is not nearly as important as the cost of the ink.

Absolutly right about the ink being more importaint than the printer. I did not intend to put Canon in the sentence about expensive ink. (took it out) I pay about $7 for my Epson ink also, I get the "remanufactured" cartridges.
