WOW! Great deal, OP! Worked just like you said! I was able to buy 3 paperbacks and a CD for around $10, shipped free to the store. It even worked on pre-orders, so if there's a book you're waiting for, go ahead and order it. I wish I could think of more books I want right now....

If you made any pre-orders, did you have them shipped all at once, or in seperate orders? This may affect the shipping time. I made mine ship in seperate orders, as they come in.

Nope, no pre orders here and checked ship in the least amount of shipments to the store. I've never done store pick up, so thought that might be why that message. Or I thought they might have the code flagged.

I ordered Thursday morning and got an email Friday morning saying my order has shipped to the store.  I was expecting it to be a cancellation email but I guess some orders did go through. I'll have to check my credit card to make sure they don't try charging me more than the $2 my order confirmation was printed as.

I tried again yesterday with a second order and that went through as well. I have gotten a "your order has shipped" email around 14 hours after ordering, but no call from the store yet. the store took many days to call me or I should say it took that long to get to the store as I stopped in the day before the call and it was not there yet. My second order had many books in it-that one I had shipped to me

the site has issues, it doesn't have anything to do with the coupon. I also noticed when I got my confirmation it said I chose ship as items become available when I chose free shipping and group in as few shipments as possible so I hope that won't be an issue.

I did get a tracking number emailed to me when it shipped and it showed as of yesterday evening that it is at the store now. I'll wait a day for them to call before I do. Anyone else get their shipments yet?

The store had called and left a message that my order would be at the front desk. I went to the front desk and said I was there to pick up an order from Borders.com and gave them my name. That's it. My books were in a sealed box just as if they had been delivered to my house. They keep a log book of Borders.com orders and I had to sign that I received my package, but never had to show ID or anything.

I just called the customer service (which by the way took forever), I told them I have been trying and trying with 1 item in the cart and even 7 items in the cart. It would not go through. The lady told me to place my order without the code and then I gave her my order number - SHE TOOK THE $5.00 OFF! She said the code was what was getting it hung up and they have been having problems with it.

At my store the cashiers said they weren't used to internet orders. They started to ring up my totals off the wrapped box when I picked up my order...I had to remind them I already paid for these when I bought them online -
