I purchased two of these on sale at Amazon before Christmas for $170. My Dad purchased one for my brother and sister-in-law, also. I can say they are well worth the money... we are very pleased with it. My husband is using it for when he travels and we bought one for my son, as well. Great deal!

Yes, I think this is a typical price for this item at most places - the other Amazon sellers are at a similar price, so not to sure about the 75% off part.
