hyperlinking

I can't hyperlink..........I type in my yahoo e-mail addy but it only shows >>YAHOO<< in my post. I tried editing and then it says page not found when I hit the hyperlink symbol. After 3 or 4 tries it works sometimes.
Any ideas?????

Here's the one to do email:

(Do all without spaces. If I don't put the spaces in, you won't be able to see the commands)

Usage [ email]value[ /email]

Would Be: [ email]youremail@domain.com[ /email]

Show as: youremail@domain.com

Usage: [ email=Option]value[ /email]

Would Be: [ email=myname@domain.com]Click Here to Email Me[/ email]

Show As: Click Here to Email Me
