how many usernames can a member have

Since "so many" people have it, I would imagine it's the "default" date when a person signs up. If a person wants to have their birthday known for real, they would physically have to change it.

That's what makes sense to me at least.


ETA - Yes, that seems to be it. I created a username (my husband's username! LOL!), then looked at the profile. It shows November 30th as the birthday.

Big mystery, solved.

6 out of nine new members have that Birthday. I feel stupid cause I do not get it. Most of these people have numbers in their names too.

Nancy - Ambrianna explained it quite clearly - I'll try one more time. When a member registers, if he/she does not enter his/her birthday, the default birthday that the system sets is November 30th. Alot of people - new and old - do not choose to share their birthdate on an online forum.

FWIW, I would not suggest a career in private investigation for either you or ILL. lol

How can you tell they are new users? Is there a list or something?

You can choose to keep your b'day "private". Click on USERCP and then edit profile, I believe. Maybe those that you don't see their b'day have chosen this option??

Apparently I am the person that must have 20 different user names because of the Nov 30 Bday. Since it's obvious that this forum is only open to original members and no one else is welcome and/or is accused of being someone else...I am writing to the help@mycoupons.com to delete my membership as I am not welcome here anyway and anything I would post would be ridiculed. I am also bringing up in my e-mail that the member ILUVLUCY420 has harassed me ever since my very first post as well as the member called ohhgodd. I don't need to stay here and be harassed but I'm not taking this lying down either! After I leave it's going to be the next new member that you accuse of being someone else! Something needs to be done about this and I don't know if they really care but you can bet I'm going to tell them exactly what happened to ME so maybe it won't happen to the next innocent victim!

Just a question for anyone reading this: Is there a limit one user name per person because I see no rule that states this fact!

My advice: try to let it go, mellowyellow. Perhaps register a new account and have a "do over". Most of the folks here are really terrific and you'll get back what you put in. Things just got off on a bad foot.

FWIW--it's my understanding that the owners of TLJ do check ISP address and other such stuff to prevent people from signing up for many different accounts.
Also, it's my understanding that the owners of TLJ do an ocassional "pruning" of non-active members. Of course you should feel free to confirm this with the owners of TLJ, as it their intellectual property and can do whatever the hell they want with it. Include banning you!
