spybot help please.

I deleted coupon printer and a keynote thing (from a survey) the other day because they made my computer act slow. Now when I restart my computer spypot pops up with this:

category: system startup global entry
change: value deleted
entry: delete_C:Windowsdownload program filesconnector.dll
old data: command /c del C:WindowsDownld~1Connec~2.Dll

do I allow or deny the change?

thanks in advance

I'm no expert, but I'll tell you what I usually do first.

Copy the filename [the part after the C:] for each of the 2 files.
Put them separately into Google and look at the search results.

That will give you some data so you can make an informed decision.

Hopefully someone here that knows more about what Windows does at startup can help you.

Are you running Windows XP or Vista?

It sounds like the deletion of the items was not complete or not done properly. What Spybot is seeing and wants to fix is likely from that. If the path listed was to one of those programs , that is the likely scenario.

How did you delete them?

Coupon printer made my computer very slow also. I went to the start button on my desktop and searched for coupon and an "un install" coupon printer came up. I clicked on it and followed directions and it worked. Can you try to uninstall again?
