Hi everybody,
You know how on MyPoints they have this game section? With games like bejeweled and scrabble and stuff? It says you can earn 5 points per dollar. I at first thought this meant if I played well, and reached a $1 in the game, then I'd earn points.... but then I read a little further and it says that if I FUND my account, for every dollar I fund it with, I'll get 5 points.

My questions are:

WHY would anybody want to pay for this?

WHY pay for this when you can play for free?

And if you were one of those people who wanted to go ahead and pay to play these games, then HOW are the measely 5 points you get for every dollar you chuck in even worth it? The conversion rate for MyPoints points for various signups, and trivia, and daily clicks makes it seem like they should be offering you more like 50 points per dollar, maybe even more! But FIVE points per dollar? Are you kidding me?

Maybe I am missing something important here. I'm just looking for a way to get a few more points soon so I can cash out for a gift card in time for someone's birthday.

My understanding is you can play two ways
-- play for free - no points
-- fund your account, get points and play for cash prizes

I haven't actually played the games myself, but this the way I read it

Even though we may not understand why,
everything happens when and how it is supposed to.

So maybe you could win some cash? I dunno...........seems like it would still be a loss for me. I don't play online games hardly ever. If anyone DOES play these and funds their accounts, I'd like to hear how it is going for you.
